Was shot by Stylesightings while stepping out for lunch with my girlfriend (and new coworker, yay!) Winnie last week, in front of where else? The LF store around the corner from my office. Go figs! For those of you who don’t know, I become completely awkward the second there is a camera pointed my way - text book case of Chandler complex. It’s not too obvious in this picture, is it? They also took a detailed shot of my shoes (which everyone has been crushing on lately. And when I say “everyone”, I just mean all the crazy purse forum girls at the Rebecca Minkoff sale last week, but I digress!) Luckily, during bestie time last week with BG, we got mani pedis so my newly polished hot pink toes were ready for their close up. And THANK BUDDHA for that because those puppies were bust-ED only a day before I was stopped on 5th Ave. Moral of the story, if you’re lazy and need the buddy system to do everything short of wiping your butt (even I draw the line somewhere), pair bestie time with personal grooming - it’s efficient on time and if your bestie is anything like mine, she will judge you and make fun of you ‘til no end until you rectify the sitch, be it combing your hair (always guilty of not doing!), or taking off the three speckles of polish that remain on your finger nails from a manicure you got over a month ago.
